BAM Inc. was formed in 1995 as an advanced material science company. We apply our proprietary technology in the creation of high-temperature furnace systems to process materials for our customers. The materials we process are used for semiconductor, aerospace, military, environmental and other specialized applications. We ship 70,000 aerospace parts per year.
BAM provides carbonization, graphitization, pyrolysis, carbon vapor deposition and other high temperature processing services for customers who are manufacturers of carbon graphite structures, composites, powders and fibers, as well as manufacturers of non-oxide ceramics, such as silicon carbide, silicon nitride, boron nitride, boron carbide or other advanced ceramic materials. We provide preforming, needling, die cutting and machining services for specific customers. We have entered into several successful joint development and licensing agreements in order to develop and expand technology and bring value to customers.
BAM has over a dozen proprietary high temperature furnaces at our 50,000 sq. ft. facility in Knoxville, Tenn. Our furnace systems are designed around the needs of our customers and operate at temperatures up to 2,750° C in inert atmospheres, or under vacuum. We operate 24/7 and understand the operational safety issues and methods for operation at ultra-high temperatures including the effective treatment and destruction of various exhaust species. We are ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev D certified.
